Printing Update

Hello everybody!
Thank you for all your patience! So, two pieces of news right now -
1. The book went to the printer last week. We're estimating about a month to print, and probably around two months to ship to our warehouse. We'll keep you update on how this goes and we'll get images of the books as soon as we have them.
2. I'm going to work to get digital books out to you all as soon as I can. My guess, right now, is it'll be over the weekend or next week. Regardless, they aren't far off!

Backerkit, Timelines, and Printing!

Hello everybody!
I wanted to take a minute and thank you all for your patience and apologize on the delay on Backerkit. They want us to wait around two weeks before we start sending out the surveys (which I forgot about), so my apologies for the delay.
As a reminder -

We're including a THANK YOU page and we need you to submit to us the name you want included in the book! We need this by NEXT WEDNESDAY (9/28/22)!

From there, here's what'll happen -
1. We'll submit the book to the printer next Wednesday, so be sure to get your name in by Wednesday, otherwise you may get left out.
2. It'll take about a month to print.
3. Once the book is printed, it'll take around two months for shipping to our warehouse in Indianapolis.
4. During this time, we'll be printing the stickers and bookmarks so that they arrive at the warehouse about the same time the books arrive.
5. Once everything has arrived, we start shipping to you! Our hope is to start shipping in late December/early January.
Again, thank you all so much for your support! We appreciate it very much! And we'll keep you updated along the way.

Here we go!
Short, sweet and awesome campaign (thank you so much!) and now we move to the next steps to get the book to the printers ASAP.
We hit all the stretch goals posted - stickers and bookmarks for everyone, and at the final hour we funded the embellished book cover. And because It really meant a lot to me that the book was funded and I greatly appreciate everyone here, I am going to add a "thank you" page in the book, that will include everyone who helped in this campaign, regardless of pledge level.
Currently we are putting together a backerkit to send out to everyone that will include a questionnaire, inside which will be a place to tell us how'd you'd like to be credited in the book. We're going to put a deadline of September 16th (next Friday) as the cut off for those questionnaires so we can quickly move forward with the printing process. If we don't hear from you, we will just use your Kickstarter user name. (We also reserve to right to not print any name we find inappropriate.)
Our timeline at this point is to get the book to the printer in the next couple of weeks, printing will take approximately a month then shipping will take approximately 2-3 months. Our goal is for everyone to have their books by Christmas.
In the meantime I'll be reaching out to those of you who wanted original artwork to discuss. That stuff will go out before the books so we'll get that taken care of sooner than later.
This is just one project in a long line of projects I have planned for the future and this was an inspirational start!

You guys are awesome.
The Funky Fish Book was funded in just under 24 hours! And for that, a sincere thanks to you all!
And because the project is already funded and the book is essentially complete we've started to move forward with the printing process so when the Kickstarter campaign wraps up we'll hit the ground running. I'd really love for everyone to get their books by Christmas if we can make that happen. Earlier is always better but we shall see.
